Who We Are

Bob Jones University is a Christian liberal arts university focused on educating the whole person to reflect and serve Christ. We defend and teach the inerrancy of Scripture and apply its truths to daily living.

We challenge our students to prepare thoroughly to serve Christ. As part of this preparation, we offer rigorous academic programs that are infused with a biblical worldview and that nurture faith and teach life and job skills.

Through intentional Word-centered discipleship, BJU encourages students to imitate God in His character and works, and evaluate everything in the light of God’s Word, basing life’s decisions on its principles.

BJU encourages students to develop leadership skills that equip them for a lifetime of servant-leadership in their families, churches, communities and professions.

A BJU college education also encompasses an intentional exposure to fine arts and social skills that enhance lives, as well as an emphasis on pursuing excellence in all we do.

BJU’s faculty, staff and student leaders exhibit love and compassion for each other and mentor each other toward Christlikeness and service for Him.
