Creation
I believe in the creation of man by the direct act of God.
God's Word was not given to us to teach us science. But the same God Who wrote the book made the laws that govern science; and He would not cause to be set down in His Word anything that would be contrary to His own laws.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Genesis 1:27
The theistic evolutionist attempts to reconcile Genesis to evolution. But it cannot be done; the two are irreconcilable.
And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. Genesis 2:21-22
Creation is the source of man's immortal soul.
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7
Creation is the source of Divine order and human authority systems.
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Genesis 1:26
Creation was an act of love, by which God granted existence and His personal fellowship to us.
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death. Philippians 3:10
The process of the human race has not been upward from the swamp by evolution, but downward from the garden by sin. In a perfect environment man sinned, and the result of that sin is apparent in the world today.
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Romans 3:10-12
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 2 Timothy 3:1-5
But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 2 Timothy 3:13
