BJU’s CareerCentral is a web-based job-search tool for Bob Jones University students and alumni. NACElink is the national software program and database that supports CareerCentral. In addition to the participating colleges and universities, NACElink is a partnership between the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), the DirectEmployers Association, and Symplicity Corporation. NACE does not review NACElink postings.
When logged into CareerCentral, user data is actually stored on the NACElink web site, owned and operated by NACE which is committed to maintaining the privacy of personal information of the candidates and employers who use NACElink.
Jobs posted on the other available job board (NACElink) are independent of the CareerCentral approval process and are not reviewed for posting, and therefore, Bob Jones University does not necessarily endorse these opportunities.
Candidates are urged to thoroughly review all job postings and use caution and common sense when applying. Do not disclose social security numbers, credit card information, or bank account numbers to prospective employers.
BJU’s CareerCentral manager may conduct searches on resumes and candidate profiles to notify candidates of non-academic internship or employment opportunities through e-mail communications. By entering data into the CareerCentral/NACElink system, students, alumni, and employers may have data included in aggregate reports used for evaluation of employment activities, educational programs, reports developed for institutional studies, and salary surveys.
