German

We offer a full major and minor in German, including beginning, intermediate, and advanced courses as well as a full range of upper-level literature and culture courses. Our instructional approach emphasizes in equal proportion all four language skills: i.e., listening, speaking, reading, and writing on all levels. While all of your course requirements can be completed in residence, we strongly recommend that our majors and minors take advantage of our summer studies abroad program in Germany.
