Dan Wooster
Office: SC 21a B.S., Bob Jones University, M.S., Bowling Green State University Courses Taught: Computer Science II, Microprocessor Architecture, Operating Systems, Computer Science Seminar, Special Topics, E-Commerce. Mr. Wooster has been with the department since he joined the faculty in 1981. His areas of interest include software development and computer networking. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Mr. Wooster helped develop the first BJU website (including the first version of The Linked Word Project), promotional multimedia CDROM, and campus multimedia kiosk. He also founded a software development business, cofounded an Internet hosting and e-commerce business. He and his wife Karen have a daughter Sara and two sons, Joseph and Jonathan. They are active members at Hampton Park Baptist Church. Mr. Wooster enjoys helping missionaries and other ministries make effective use of computer and Internet technologies. Recently Mr. Wooster spent time in China and is currently learning Chinese so that he might be able to help provide good Bible training material for Chinese Christians on the Internet. One of his favorite verses is Psalm 20:7 - Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. |

David L. Hanson
B.S., University of Wisconsin-Madison; MCIS, University of Denver Courses Taught: Computer Applications, Introduction to Computer Programming, Information Technology, Network Administration, Computer Communications David Hanson joined the computer science faculty in the fall of 2001 after a 24 year career in the oil industry. He worked for the first nine of those years in petroleum engineering and in various computing areas including engineering application support, desktop support, network administration, IT project management, and programming for the rest of his career. He has traveled and lived internationally extensively during his oil industry career. He and his wife, Jane, have two sons, Brian and Erik, who are both graduate assistants teaching and studying piano at the University. |

James Knisely
B.S., Bob Jones University, M.S., Ph.D., Clemson University Courses Taught: Data Structures, Business Systems, Theoretical Foundations, Numerical Analysis, Computational Math Dr. Knisely has been a member of the department since 1992. His areas of interest include algorithm design, automation, and graph theory. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Knisely does research in algorithms and graph theory and helps with automation projects in the Bob Jones Press Warehouse. He is a member at Suber Road Baptist Church where he serves on the trustee board. Also, he and his wife direct the children's ministries during the services. Stephen Schaub
B.S., Bob Jones University, M.S., University of North Texas Current Courses: Computer Science I, Programming Language Design, Software Development Stephen Schaub joined the computer science faculty in the fall of 1996. His areas of interest include programming languages and software development. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Mr. Schaub supervises the computer science lab, and enjoys participating in the University Symphony Orchestra, accompanying student and faculty recitals, and presenting piano and organ recitals. He also serves as assistant organist and orchestra director at Mount Calvary Baptist Church. Stephen and his wife Ruth have three children, Andrew, Joy, and Esther. |

Rebecca Weier
B.S., M.S., Bob Jones University Courses Taught: Computer Applications Rebecca returned to the BJU faculty in 1995. She enjoys learning new business applications. Her husband, Gary Weier, teaches on the speech communication faculty and is the Vice President of Administration. They have four children, Laura Beth, Emily, Andrew, and Ellie. |

Donna Lawrence
B.S., M.Ed., Bob Jones University Courses Taught: Computer Applications Donna Flower Lawrence joined the Computer Science faculty in 1993. She grew up on campus with faculty parents Lance and Janet Flower. Donna enjoys doing database design work and designing cross-stitch patterns in her spare time. Her husband Rick is an employee of SAR Automation Company which does automation for BMW. The Lawrences have one son, Tripp. |
