Key Courses
General Biology I & II In these courses you will study all the core disciplines, such as introductory cell and molecular biology, genetics, developmental biology, ecology, taxonomy, and a proper Christian philosophy of science.
Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy In this class, you will learn about the classes of vertebrate animals, with emphasis upon comparison of the anatomy of the various organ systems and the dissection of representative specimens.
Biochemistry For two semesters you will be immersed in the world of proteins, enzymes, carbohydrates, lipids, bioenergetics, glycolysis, citric acid cycle, electron transport, oxidative phosphorylation, amino acid metabolism, molecular physiology, and molecular transmission of genetic information.

The Pre-Veterinary program has been designed to provide advantages for you when you are ready to apply for your professional veterinary science training. You will, of course, have received a thorough undergraduate curriculum.
