Premeds Serve Greenville Hospital System
On Saturday, Sept. 22, 43 PMA (Premed Association) students assisted Mr. Bob Stack, OR coordinator for the Greenville Hospital System’s (GHS) main campus, in cleaning and organizing a missions supply warehouse that GHS maintains.
PreMedical Association Tours New Greenville Medical School
On Oct. 2 the PreMedical Association (PMA) toured the University of South Carolina School of Medicine–Greenville (USCOM Greenville). The school is the second newest medical school in the nation. Over 60 prospective medical students attended along with 5 BJU science faculty.
Dr. Paul Catalana, assistant dean of Admissions and chair of the Admissions Board, said Bob Jones students are “extraordinarily well prepared for medical school,” especially the Greenville Medical School which has 2 BJU graduates in its inaugural class.
