A step-by-step approach to the development of expository sermons, with careful attention to exegetical accuracy and effective homiletical formatting. Students will prepare sermons from a variety of biblical genres, including Old Testament and New Testament passages.

Hom 635: Bible Teaching Methods for Women

A practical approach for women in developing Bible lessons designed for presentation to women. Special emphasis on discerning the meaning of a passage of Scripture and communicating that message effectively. Students will gain experience working with a variety of biblical genres from both the Old and New Testaments.
