BJU’s Degree Completion Program (DCP) is designed for former college students who were not able to complete their undergraduate programs and still wish to finish a degree without moving to Greenville. The program builds on the residence courses the student completed and allows the student to finish by taking correspondence and/or online courses through the Office of Extended Education.
Students may earn one of three degrees through DCP: Associate of General Studies (AGS), Bachelor of General Studies (BGS), or Bachelor of Arts in Practical Christian Training (BAPCT). The AGS and BGS degrees are designed specifically for students who started a college degree but never finished it. The BAPCT degree is designed for students who have already earned an associate degree from Bob Jones University and who wish to complete a bachelors degree.
For the AGS and BGS degrees, the program requirements are divided into two areas: general education (core requirements) and specific courses toward two or more field concentrations. We tailor your profile to include the courses you have already completed.
The BAPCT degree requires completion of at least 34 credit hours of specified coursework in addition to a conferred associate degree.
