Application
Qualifications
- You must be a former student from BJU or another recognized institution.
- You must have completed one full year of resident course work (24 credits for AGS or 30 credits for BGS).
- You must be at least 25 years of age.
- You must have been away from college for at least five years.
- You must be approved by the Admissions Office for acceptance.
Procedures
Simply complete the application
form and either fax it to (864) 271-8187 or mail
it to the Office of Extended Education, Bob Jones University, Greenville, SC 29614-0001.
Your application will be forwarded to the Admissions Committee for processing.
Once your application has been approved, the DCP Advisor will develop a personal profile that will show you exactly what courses you have completed and what academic requirements you need to meet in order to receive your degree.
At this point, if you decide you do not want to pursue the program, $25 of your
application fee will be refunded to you. Otherwise, $50 will be applied to your first
year's activity fee. After you have been accepted into the program, you may sign up
immediately for a correspondence course
. Online courses are offered each summer.
Cost
You will save a considerable amount of money since you will not be paying room and board costs. Tuition prices vary from course to course. Check out the Extended Education section for more information about current course pricing.
A $75 processing fee is due with your re-enrollment application. If you choose not to pursue the degree, $25 of fee is refundable within 30 days after you receive your Personal Profile. Once you are enrolled in the Program, a student activity fee of $50 is due each year, which covers sending you CDs of recent chapel messages, along with administrative costs related to your enrollment.
