About Steve


Dr. Steve Casarow assumed the role of a faculty member within the Division of Business Management in the autumn of 2017. Before his tenure at BJU, Dr. Casarow served as the Human Resource and Quality Assurance Manager at Metalcraft Services in Tampa, Florida.

During the period spanning from 2002 to 2014, Dr. Casarow delivered lectures encompassing a spectrum of subjects, including management principles, financial management, organizational behavior, securities and investments, advanced computer applications, systems analysis and design, data communications and networks, and business communications as an Associate Professor of Business at Clearwater Christian College. Concurrently, he fulfilled the responsibilities of golf coach at the institution. Moreover, Dr. Casarow undertook instructional roles as an Adjunct Instructor of Business at Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown, Wisconsin, and Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee.

Preceding his academic appointments, Dr. Casarow amassed a breadth of experience across various sales and information technology roles over 25 years. This wealth of experiential knowledge significantly enriches his pedagogical approach.

Dr. Casarow is married to Dr. Pattye Casarow, who holds a faculty position within the BJU Division of Music. They have four children: Jayne, Stephen, Jonathan, and Patrick. In his leisure hours, Dr. Casarow enjoys pursuits such as golfing, fishing, and piloting aircraft. Notably, he holds multi-engine, commercial, and instrument-rated pilot certifications.

Reflecting on his journey, Dr. Casarow expresses gratitude for divine providence leading him and his family to BJU. He finds fulfillment in engaging with his students to explore the myriad opportunities for integrating faith and business practices, aspiring for them to glean insights on livelihood and ethical conduct through the illumination of Scriptural guidance.
