Mission & Goals
Mission: The purpose of the Division of Art and Design is to prepare Christian visual artists in the production, creative use, and enjoyment of artwork as a means of communication, creative expression, and Christian ministry.
Goals
- Teach and develop creative thinking and produce quality artwork in three undergraduate degree programs
- Provide a background of study in art history and contemporary trends in art
- Encourage Christ-centered artistic goals and a personal Bible-based philosophy of art
- Evaluate student artistic capabilities and give career direction
