Program
The LRC assists students primarily in (1) identifying and implementing needed instructional accommodations, and (2) planning and preparing for class assignments. Upon admission, students receive an individualized accommodation plan (IAP) that links their cognitive and academic deficits with the most appropriate accommodations.
Housed in the Alumni Building (Al 206), the LRC provides services to students on a first-come, first-served basis during the fall and spring semesters on a required attendance basis, drop-in basis, or both. Students who receive service on a required attendance basis (3 hours per week) must enroll in the LRC as a 0-credit, 3-hour load course (RDG 095). The LRC is open selected hours every weekday morning and afternoon, and on Monday through Thursday evenings for students who need occasional or extra help.
