What will I study?
The Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology provides coursework in information technology, business, Bible and the liberal arts. Students will be prepared for work in the areas of system analysis; system, network, and database administration; and help desk management. The development of problem-solving skills is a major emphasis. Exposure to standard computing platforms will help prepare students for industry certification. This program requires 36 credits in the major, and contributes to the Division' s goal to train students to solve relevant and sophisticated problems in a variety of fields.

The Information Technology degree enables many of our graduates to successfully obtain advanced degrees. We have graduates in the following information systems management related careers:
Industry:

Government:
Some of the above fields are available plus highly sensitive positions with the CIA, NSA, and many other government agencies.
Education:
Teaching positions are available in high schools, colleges, technical colleges, industry, and government.
Students can network with a variety of employers through our online placement service, CareerCentral. A multitude of employment opportunities are posted annually. In addition, over 60 businesses and 150 Christian schools/mission boards/Christian organizations come on campus to recruit students in a variety of majors through on-campus interviews and job/ministry fairs. The Career Services office also helps students by holding seminars on resume preparation and interview techniques.
