Key Courses
Preparation for Service/Evangelism In the first 7 weeks you will look at the devotional life, prayer life, and spiritual qualifications for the ministry. The last 7 weeks will cover topics such as the duty and privilege of soul winning; Christ the Master evangelist; and early church evangelism in Acts.
Cults This course includes the teaching and history of those religious groups which hold doctrines contrary to Fundamental Christianity, including Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Christian Scientists, Seventh-day Adventists, and Muslims.
Speech in the Church In this class, you will learn to develop your speaking ability in connection with all phases of church work. The course involves videotaping your actual sermon delivery to teach you an individual and effective style in the pulpit.
Methods of Church Planting This course trains prospective church planters and entry-level pastors in effective methodology of planting and developing a church through the first five years: models, selecting a locale, basic business and legal issues, writing a church constitution and brochure, evangelism, church building and program, and pastor-people relations.
Career Opportunities
Our graduates have proven "track records" as pastors, missionaries, assistant pastors, and youth directors. Many are popular speakers at youth rallies, camps, and retreats.
