During the summers, I travel to Arizona where I assist in the ministry at a church I have been involved in since I started graduate school in 1982. Other Facts: I grew up a few miles from the Mexican border in Texas where I learned to enjoy south Texas traditions - rodeos, Mexican food, and football games. (Tom Landry, former coach of the Dallas Cowboys, is from my hometown.) My family traveled most summers to Colorado where I learned to enjoy beautiful scenery and fishing. I grew up in a singing family, and I learned to love music. I sang many times with my sisters for Lester Roloff in his meetings or on his radio programs. He called us the "Sweetheart Trio." I sang with my sisters on a Christmas television special and on radio programs broadcast in many foreign countries. |
