Key Courses

Contemporary Issues in Financial Accounting is a study of selected topics including partnership accounting, governmental and not-for-profit accounting, fiduciary accounting, and external reporting.

Auditing Theory and Application is a review of the basic auditing concepts and an introduction to competing theories of auditing and other attestation services.

Tax Research is an introduction to tax research methods used by practicing accountants and a survey of available primary and secondary research sources. You will be equipped to defend a position on particular tax issues through appropriate communication of research results.

Our accounting students consistently score better than the national average on the CPA Exam, with many passing all exam parts on the first sitting.

Four of the top five accounting firms in the United States, as well as several regional accounting firms, recruit annually on the campus. Approximately 30 to 50 percent of our accounting graduates accept positions with these companies. Additionally, each year over 60 businesses and 150 Christian Schools/Mission Boards/Christian Organizations recruit our graduates.
