Financial Management
The Financial Management major is designed to prepare students for the management of a financial institution, such as a bank or brokerage firm, or the financial management of a business. In addition, students will receive training that can qualify them for (1) entry level positions in many business disciplines, (2) establishing and operating their own businesses, (3) the opportunity for advancement to the highest levels of a corporate structure, and (4) entrepreneurial opportunities.

International Finance In this course you will study such concepts as foreign currency markets, foreign exchange risk, balance of trade and balance of payment accounts and the overall effect these and other factors have on the financial management of a multi-national company.
Advanced Financial Management Here you will study advanced financial analysis as well as learn the process of capital management and capital budgeting models.
Money and Banking When you take this course you will receive an introduction to all aspects of banking and how they relate to the economy. Special emphasis is given to the Federal Reserve System and the commercial banking system.
Investment Portfolio Management Here you will learn about the various investments which are available to the personal and institutional investor, such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and commodities. You will learn how to identify investment needs, how to determine the composition of an investment portfolio, and how to manage the risks involved in the investment field.
