This program is designed to produce teachers who love God and who will love their students and enjoy teaching. We will teach you the techniques of instructing effectively as well as the techniques of directing students toward appropriate subject matter. We seek to teach a breadth of understanding that will enable you to determine what each class—and individual—needs and how best to meet those needs.

Key Courses
Instructional Technology This class will give you the opportunity to find out the latest in computer and educational technology. It will help you in the selection of computer hardware and educational software for your classroom. Through hands-on lab training, you will learn how to integrate educational technology into the normal classroom setting.
Teaching English (9-12) In this small elective class you will learn special techniques for teaching literature, composition, and grammar. You will also have the opportunity to practice new skills by presenting short lessons.
Directed Teaching Here you will have a chance to "try your wings" by teaching under the supervision of an experienced teacher. You will begin gradually and work into handling a teacher's normal load.
