We receive approximately 50-75 requests for math teachers each year, and we graduate about ten. Also, we anticipate the number of requests for math teachers will be increasing in the coming years. (In 1981, California State University at Long Beach had 400 requests for mathematics education graduates. They graduated seven that year.) There is a wide open door of opportunity for you in this area if you believe the Lord is leading you in this direction.
