English Education (TESL)

Teaching English as a Second Language Emphasis

This program will equip you to teach English to those who are non-native users of the language. We desire to produce teachers who love God and who will love their students and enjoy teaching. We will teach you the techniques of instructing effectively as well as the techniques of directing students toward appropriate subject matter. We seek to teach a breadth of understanding that will enable you to determine what each class—and individual—needs and how best to meet those needs.
