Key Courses
Elementary Hebrew I & II In these classes you will learn the basic grammar and vocabulary of biblical Hebrew and will translate passages out of the books of Joshua, Ruth, and Jonah. You will also learn to use Hebrew in word studies, and commentary/translation evaluations.
Bible Teaching Methods for Women This course presents a practical approach to the development of Bible lessons taught by women for women, with sample lessons drawn from varied forms of biblical literature in both the Old and New Testaments.
Systematic Theology In this course you will study the nature, necessity, methods, and materials of theology as well as the application of principles of systematic theology to the scriptural revelation about God, man, sin, Christ, salvation, the Church, and the end times, following a biblical dispensational hermeneutic.
Career Opportunities
The School of Religion extension office will assist you in finding positions for Christian service. Pastors, camp directors, mission board directors, and other recruiters often visit the campus to find personnel for their ministries. Graduates can be found serving the Lord in a wide variety of fields—from teaching to working on the mission field.
