Specialist in Bible Translation (Women)
The Specialist in Bible Translation degree program provides the Bible translator with valuable, more extensive preparation in the languages and content of the Bible. This program is the recommended completion of the studies undertaken in the Master of Arts degree in Bible Translation. The specialist degree provides academic recognition for this additional preparation. The program requires 31 hours beyond the Master of Arts degree.

Key Courses
History of Fundamentalism & Evangelicalism This class will present to you the origins and development of Christian Fundamentalism and the later New Evangelicalism. It will provide a comparative study of the contrasting philosophies and influences within the groups and an analysis of the present status of the two movements within Christianity.
Bible Teaching Methods for Women This class provides a practical approach to the development of Bible lessons taught by women for women. Sample lessons will be presented from the varied forms of Biblical literature in both the Old and New Testaments.

The School of Religion extension office will assist you in finding positions for Christian service. Pastors, camp directors, mission board directors, and other recruiters often visit the campus to find personnel for their ministries. Graduates can be found serving the Lord in a wide variety of fields—from teaching to working on the mission field.
