Educational background: B.Mus, Henderson State University; M.M., D.M.A., Louisiana State University; additional study at the Salem (N.C.) Organ Academy Hometown: Altheimer, Arkansas Membership: The American Guild of Organists, served as secretary, sub-dean and dean in chapters in Arkansas, Louisiana, and South Carolina; Music Teachers National Association; Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia; Pi Kappa Lambda. Academic Area: chairman of the Division of Music, head of the organ department, university organist, music theory, applied organ, organ pedagogy, organ literature, and service playing Performances and Publications: recent solo performance with the Bob Jones University Symphony Orchestra; recitals and sacred concerts in North Carolina, Virginia, Illinois, South Carolina, New Jersey, Colorado, Pennsylvania and Ohio; choral and instrumental pieces published by SoundForth; served as chairman of the committee and chief editor for the University Hymnal; was also an editor of Hymns of Grace and Glory Hobbies: gardening and travel with my family Family: wife, Pam, also on the music faculty, and three daughters: Katie (deceased), Kara, and Analeisa Ministry: campus organist, organist at Faith Free Presbyterian Church, Greenville, SC where he also serves as an elder Mission statement: We have a tremendous opportunity to work with talented young people from around the world.
