In 1947 Bob Jones University began to offer a bachelor's degree in broadcasting, and in the '50s, BJU granted its first master's degrees in television broadcasting.

1960s

In the '60s we produced several TV series for NBC and ABC as well as numerous live programs on local channels. By this time, wire recorders and 16-inch acetate disc transcriptions had been replaced by audiotape!
