The Doris Fisher Harris Playwriting Competition exists to encourage the creation of new dramatic literature that is characterized by a distinctly Christian worldview. One of our goals is to provide ministry-minded Christian actors and stage directors with more plays that are designed to reach believers and non-believers for the cause of Christ. Therefore we are seeking plays that have strong Biblical themes and conservative Christian values. Submissions need not be sermonic or religious but should reflect a Christian worldview.
Winners of the 2008 competition will be notified by email by April 30, 2008.
Contest Rules
- Submissions must be original, unpublished plays. Legal clearance of materials not in the public domain is the full responsibility of the playwright.
