What are your hobbies?
Cooking, hiking and music
What was your favorite class in college? Why?
Group Vocal Technique because it was taught by my favorite teacher, and I learned a lot of things that have helped me in teaching flute lessons.
What is your favorite college memory?
I was playing in the orchestra for an opera one year, and a meatball (plastic, of course) rolled right off the stage into the orchestra pit, creating quite a stir! We all kept right on playing while we tried to recover from the shock and ensuing fits of laughter. That was a very memorable and funny occurrence!
Why did you choose BJU?
Because of the Lord’s clear leading through His provision and through the counsel of my parents.
Any advice for incoming students?
Make your relationship with the Lord your priority and everything else will fall into place. Be responsible with your time, but make sure you have some fun too!
If you could visit one place, where would it be?
England, to visit church history sites.
What type of high school did you graduate from?
A very private high school—I was homeschooled!
