Financial Aid

To qualify for most financial aid, you must complete a FAFSA. The FAFSA is available for U.S. residents as well as residents of American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Republic of Palau, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

How to Receive Financial Aid

Grants and Scholarships

These are funds awarded to qualifying students based on merit or need, and they never need to be paid back. Here are some grants and scholarships BJU students may qualify for:

Federal Grants and Scholarships
South Carolina Grants and Scholarships
BJU Grants and Scholarships
Other Grants and Scholarships

Loans

A loan is money borrowed with the expectation that it will be paid back at a later time. Carefully consider future payments as you look into loan options. Also, you will want to find loans with low interest rates, since interest will quickly add up.
