2007 Alumni Achievement Award

Marshall Franklin graduated from Bob Jones University in 1987 with an accounting major. He joined Ernst & Young, a global services firm with 114,000 employees in 140 countries, the same year. He became a founding member of the start-up Internal Audit Practice for the firm in 1997. At Ernst & Young he was promoted to partner in 1999. He serves a number of Fortune 500 companies and spent 9 months in England in Ernst & Young’s International Exchange Program.

He was saved as a child through the influence of godly parents. He feels that his ministry is to be a godly husband and father as well as serving in a local church. He serves as a deacon at Metropolitan Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, and is a Sunday school teacher. He is an advisor and a counselor. He also believes that his ministry is to be an active witness for the Lord in his business contacts. His wife, Lecia, is also a graduate, and they have a son and two daughters.

In recognition of steadfastness, faithful service, and achievement in the calling which God has given, the Alumni Association executive committee is pleased to present this Alumni Achievement Citation to Marshall Franklin.
