2007 Distinguished Servant Award
Donnalynn Hess graduated from Bob Jones University in 1974 and has remained on staff ever since. She has touched the lives of many people in a variety of venues:
- After receiving her bachelor’s degree in social studies education, she went on to complete an M.A. in dramatic production and an M.Ed. in English.
- In addition to teaching on the education faculty, she also ministered for 20 years at BJU Press—writing textbooks and novels and speaking at conferences and seminars across the U.S.
- In 1998 she joined the Museum & Gallery as Director of Education, where she continues her educational outreach to the BJU family and the community at large.
In recognition of the pattern of godly womanhood demonstrated by her life and her outstanding leadership and service to young lives through the ministry of Bob Jones University as teacher, conference speaker, program director and author, the Alumni Association executive committee is pleased to present the 2007 Distinguished Servant Award to Donnalynn Hess.
