What to Bring

The following list is designed to give you an idea of what sort of items you’ll need as you pack for college. Our tip: less is more. If it doesn't have a practical use, leave it at home.

To save room, you might want to wait until you get here to buy certain items like detergent or hangers. You’ll find plenty of shopping options here in Greenville.

Want a fridge?

Refrigerators or thermoelectric coolers under 1.7 cubic feet are acceptable to bring.

You’ll want to bring church/formal event shoes and athletic shoes too. Don’t forget the shower shoes and flip-flops or slippers for the residence hall.

Shipping Items

If you want to ship some of your stuff ahead of time, please send them prepaid, not collect. Also, be sure each piece of luggage and each package you send or check through on your airplane or bus ticket is addressed to:
