You should apply at least 6 months before you intend to enroll. It takes 6 months on average from the time of the first inquiry until the student secures an F-1 visa.
Is there financial aid available for international students?
We have some limited, need-based financial aid in the form of:
- Minority Scholarship Fund (Deadline: January 31)
- Hispanic Assistance Fund (Deadline: April 1)
- Demonstrative Need Scholarship Fund (Deadline: April 1)
A student needs to be accepted for admission before applying for need-based financial aid.
Do you offer “English as a Second Language” courses?
We offer a specialized program of English instruction in the Fall semester called Bridge to College English (BCE). Admission to BCE is determined by qualifying TOEFL scores. If you qualify for admission to the BCE, this program will add one extra semester of study onto your degree program. This English as a Second Language course is part of a degree program and is for degree-seeking students only.
