Why did you choose BJU?
I knew that BJU was going to give me a solid, Bible-based education. I had seen how the Lord had used the graduates of Bob Jones University in ministry and I wanted that kind of education.
What was your favorite class in college? Why?
I really enjoyed Pulpit Speech because it gave me actual practice with writing and delivering messages. It also gave me great feedback from respected preachers.
What was a misconception you had about BJU that was proven wrong when you became a student here?
That dating was very limited and that you could only be with your boyfriend or girlfriend for an hour or so a day.
What is your favorite college memory?
Watching the Red Sox win the 2004 World Series with my friends.
What is your favorite meal out of all the food establishments on campus?
The Snack Shop’s honey mustard sub is great!
What is your favorite spot to hang out on campus?
Snack Shop! Watching games and eating food, what else do you need?
Any advice for incoming students?
Work hard and save money. College is an investment, but it is worth it. Whether it is saving money while working at home or working as a student worker, you will be glad that you worked hard.
If you could visit 1 place, where would it be?
Hawaii! I have never been, but I want to go at least once in my life.
What’s your favorite verse or Scripture passage?
My life passage is I Peter 1:3-5—“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.”
