Why did you choose BJU?

I knew that I would get a great business education with a spiritual emphasis.

How have you grown over your years at BJU?

The Lord really taught me how to love and care for those whom He had brought into my life. He would bring opportunities for me to show His love to roommates, friends and visitors.

What sort of campus ministries were you involved in?

I was in my society choir for a few years. We traveled to local churches and sang in their services. I also helped with a nursing home ministry for 2 years.

What is your favorite college memory?

My favorite memory during my college career was the yearly induction for my society. I loved reuniting with all the old guys and getting the freshmen excited about society. I can’t give too many details about it because it is a long-held secret by the members.

What is your favorite meal out of all the food establishments on campus?

The Fast Break is amazing! I love the fruit smoothies.

What is your favorite spot to hang out on campus?

I love sports, so I would have to say the Davis Field House. I love to meet up with friends and watch basketball games.

Any advice for incoming students?

Get involved in extracurricular activities right away even if you feel like you do not have time. You will have some great experiences in these groups.

What are your plans after graduation?

I plan on getting my CPA and getting some experience in the accounting field. I really want to help out ministries with their financial planning.

What’s your favorite verse or Scripture passage?

Philippians 3:13-14—“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto these things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
