Grants and scholarships are awarded based on a number of factors including financial need and academic merit. Neither requires repayment.

Federal
The U.S. Department of Education offers a vast amount of money to BJU students pursuing undergraduate degrees.
To apply for federal aid, complete a FAFSA. If you’re applying for federal aid, you should review the Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy for Federal Student Financial Aid.
South Carolina
The following grants are available for qualifying South Carolina residents. Applicants must submit an Affidavit of Eligibility each year for all South Carolina grants and scholarships. LIFE and HOPE scholarship applicants must also submit a Certification Form with their affidavit.

Application Deadlines
Application deadlines can creep up rather unexpectedly causing you to waste countless hours and miss out on the best opportunities. Write the different deadlines in your calendar. Consider beating each deadline by at least a week in order to avoid complications such as having your application get lost in the mail.
