The Lord Provides

When I came to Bob Jones University three and a half years ago, I didn’t have the money to be here. The money I earned working at home every summer and on campus during the school year was just a small fraction of what I needed. But I knew that my God owns the cattle on a thousand hills. Actually my God owns all the cattle in the whole world. I knew that the tens of thousands of dollars that I needed for school was not a problem for my God to supply.
Every semester the Lord has provided miraculously above and beyond what I could have expected. My freshman year I began to keep track of exactly how much money God had provided through gifts and scholarships. Unfortunately I lost count by the middle of my sophomore year. That’s how much my God provided—more than I could keep track of! Psalm 40:5 says, “Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.”
