Pillars of Leadership
The two pillars of effective leadership are exemplified in David’s leadership over the people of Israel. God said of him in Psalm 78:72:
So [David] led them according to the integrity of his heart [e.g. character]; and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands [e.g. competence].
BJU builds leadership for life by strengthening the supporting pillars of character and competence, which in turn are grounded upon the person and work of Jesus Christ.
These two pillars are enhanced through the Student Leadership Initiative which fleshes out BJU’s Leadership Development Strategy.
