Forensics

Bob Jones Academy provides its students with the opportunity to participate in debate/forensics through the interscholastic program in the Academy. The forensics competitive season begins late in September and continues until the middle of March. Students compete in debate, public speaking, and interpretation events. Members of the Academy team have an opportunity to join the National Forensic League that enables them to gain national recognition in their speech accomplishments.

The Academy maintains a varied physical education curriculum that includes training in team and individual sports as well as an emphasis on health and fitness. An excellent program of intramural sports is also provided. By offering a sequence of athletic games aside from the regular class work, the Academy maintains the finest form of diverse and wholesome recreation throughout the school year.

Student Body Organization

The Academy Student Body Organization is made up of four officers (male and female presidents and male and female vice-presidents) elected by the students each spring. With the guidance of faculty advisors, they plan and implement school-wide activities. They also sponsor Academy Advancement Projects, efforts to raise funds within the Academy for some needed additions to the Academy facilities.
