Kindergarten

  • Applicants for four-year kindergarten must be four years old by November 1. Applicants for five-year kindergarten must be five years old by November 1.
  • The five-year kindergarten program is carefully planned for children who are one year away from entering the first grade.
    The curriculum offered is for the purpose of preparing them to effectively meet the challenges of the grade school experience.
  • Four-year and five-year old sessions are held from 8:00-11:45 a.m. Monday through Friday with late stay available until 5:30 p.m.
  • Daily attendance is not required of four-year olds but is required of five-year olds.
  • Late stay charges are on an hourly basis and will be quoted to interested parents.

Grades 1-6

  • Applicants for grade one must be six years old by November 1.
  • The program is designed for children performing on an average or above-average level of achievement.
  • Sessions are held 8:00 a.m.-2:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • The elementary school late stay program is from 3:00-5:30 p.m. for children who need to remain for late pickups because of conflicting schedules of parents.

Related Arts

  • Fine Arts Instruction: Specially trained teachers in the fields of art and music meet with the children in grades K5-6 weekly.
    All children receive vocal music and art instruction at no extra cost. Instrumental lessons, including piano, are available for a small fee.
  • Physical Education: Weekly lessons are taught by qualified physical education teachers.
    Grades five and six are taught sports/activities such as racquetball, volleyball, badminton, soccer, baseball, and basketball.
  • Computer Classes: Special classes in computer language, usage, and art are conducted weekly in grades four through six by a qualified teacher.
  • Library Classes: A full-time librarian meets with every class weekly in the school's library.
