Financial Information 2008-09 School YearBob Jones Elementary School (BJES) seeks to offer an exemplary Christian education at a reasonable price. We understand the sacrifice made by many parents to enroll and keep children in a Christian school. BJES also works to keep the quality of education high and tuition costs within the budget of many families. Enrollment FeesTo assure classroom placement, early registration is advised. Students enrolling in Bob Jones Elementary School will pay two fees: Testing Fee: Grades K4-6 $50 The testing fee covers materials and other expenses related to administering and individually scoring tests for students who are new to our school. Registration Fee: K4 – $125, Grades K5-6 – $140 A yearly registration fee covers items including text and workbooks, classroom supplies, an annual standardized test, and other instructional costs. The registration fee is waived for families that enroll three or more children in BJES or Bob Jones Junior High. Both the registration and testing fees are collected when an application for enrollment is submitted. The testing fee is nonrefundable once testing has been conducted. A registration fee will be refunded to a new student who is not accepted for enrollment. The registration fee for current students is due on June 5. A registration fee will not be refunded to new or current students who withdraw after July 5. TuitionTuition may be paid on a 10-payment plan.
The payment is due on the fifth day of the month. On the 10-payment plan the first payment is due August 5 and each subsequent month through May 5. A 10-day grace period will be allowed from the day the payment is due, after which a late charge of 1½ percent will be assessed on all past-due account balances. Optional ChargesLunch: Charges for hot lunches and milk will be included on monthly tuition statements. A summary statement will be sent home in each Friday Folder to keep parents apprised of meal charges. The cost for each program is $75 per month. All fees for 2008-09 are subject to change. |
