Highly qualified and experienced BJU faculty from the departments of radio & television broadcasting and professional writing & publication teach Media Camp sessions.

Activities

  • Learn to write articles for print media
  • Learn to edit articles for publication
  • Learn and practice interviewing skills
  • Write articles for the camp newsletter
  • Visit local radio and television facilities and a daily newspaper
  • Learn to use radio drama to make commercials and station promos
  • Broadcast on WBJU 104.5 FM, BJU’s campus radio station
  • Produce television news stories
  • Be part of the cast and crew of a complete mock television newscast
