Grades 9-12 (as of September 2008) and 2008 high school graduates
Highly qualified and experienced BJU faculty from the departments of radio & television broadcasting and professional writing & publication teach Media Camp sessions.
Activities
- Learn to write articles for print media
- Learn to edit articles for publication
- Learn and practice interviewing skills
- Write articles for the camp newsletter
- Visit local radio and television facilities and a daily newspaper
- Learn to use radio drama to make commercials and station promos
- Broadcast on WBJU 104.5 FM, BJU’s campus radio station
- Produce television news stories
- Be part of the cast and crew of a complete mock television newscast
