henry v Henry V

April 30 & May 1 at 8 pm and May 2 at 2 pm

Shakespeare’s Henry V chronicles the military exploits and spiritual journey of one of England’s most beloved monarchs. Join us for an evening of adventure, patriotism, intrigue, humor and romance as the Classic Players, under the direction of Lonnie Polson, bring to the stage the celebrated life of King Henry V.


The Commencement Concert

May 2 at 8 pm

The Bob Jones University Symphonic Wind Band, under the direction of Dr. Dan Turner, and the choirs of Bob Jones University, under the direction of Dr. Warren Cook, will present great themes from literature in a program of “Stories: Fictions and Truths.” The concert will include William Walton’s monumental processional march Crown Imperial, scenes from J.R.R. Tolkien’s epic, The Lord of the Rings, as well as an exciting new work for winds and choir by BJU faculty member Dr. Dan Forrest.

Note: Students in Bob Jones Academy or University automatically receive concert and play tickets without charge. Guests who wish to be seated with a student should send their payment to the student and let him secure their tickets along with his own.

Children six years of age and older are welcome in any program when accompanied by an adult. Once a program has begun, no one will be admitted or readmitted. No photographic or recording equipment is permitted in any auditorium or assembly building.
