What is a Cracker Barrel?!?

There was a time in this country when townspeople would gather around a cracker barrel to discuss their concerns. Problems were solved by “borrowing brains.”

With this in mind, New Beginnings will schedule a time designated specifically to this style of informative sessions called Cracker Barrels.

Each Cracker Barrel will deal with a topic pertinent to the educator and includes a question-and-answer time. Experienced educators will field questions.

Around Town

The late afternoons are free for you and your family to rest or take advantage of more educational fun. You can take a short drive to the Great Smoky Mountains, visit four Revolutionary War battlefields (Kings Mountain, Cowpens, Ninety-Six, and Camden), and the birthplaces of Presidents Polk and Jackson.
