While on Campus
More than 175 workshops covering a variety of subjects and grade levels are available for you to choose from during the conference. But we’ve worked hard to keep your evenings free to relax and enjoy other activities. With soaring gas prices, it’s good to know that a number of options are available right here on campus–no fuel required!

Film - The Golden Rom
Tuesday, 7 p.m. - Alumni 110
Join Chester Cedartree as he writes about the unusual world of Bell Junction where Myron lives with Grandma and his sister, Emily. Myron is obsessed with collecting — at first shiny buttons — but then Fitch’s flashy car takes his fancy. He offers Fitch the buttons in exchange for the car. But when that is not enough, Myron eyes Grandma’s treasured Golden ROM, unequaled in value. Will greed warp Myron’s character and endanger those he loves most? Will he ever be able to regain their trust?
Enjoy this fully animated story of The Golden Rom, followed by Idea-Corn, a behind-the-scenes look at how animation is created. Children of all ages will enjoy this delightful presentation.
Film - The Printing
Wednesday, 7 p.m. - Alumni 110
When Christian principles become socially unacceptable and society moves to repress them, what will the Christians do? Witness the Soviet Union — before glasnost. Fear of the KGB pervades society. Christian faith is stifled wherever it is discovered. Most believers cling to a hollow shell of Christianity tolerated in “registered” churches.
However, some believers opt to remain “unregistered,” worshipping God openly and accepting the consequences. A brave few dare to print Bibles — right under the noses of the KGB. This story is about them.
Full Circuit (Women Only)
Tuesday, 8-9 p.m. - Alumni 110
If you enjoy exercising to music, this is a great way to build bones, lose fat, increase your energy level and slow aging. In addition to an aerobic workout, Full Circuit includes dumbbell and toning exercises, targeting all the major muscle groups. Come and work out or just observe. Dumbbells are provided.
