Residence Hall Computer Network Connection
Determine Your Request
Residence Hall Network Connection provides Residence Hall accessibility to GroupWise email, the BJU local Intranet, and the Internet. This is provided via wired or wireless network connections, not via modem. Of course, BJU cannot guarantee that every computer will install successfully or operate efficiently on our network. There is a $30 nonrefundable network service charge per semester which is assessed at the beginning of each semester.
Installation via Self-Install is at no charge. A student can install network connections himself using instructions provided. In most cases, it is available immediately upon arrival on campus at ports in Residence Hall rooms.
Installation via IT-Install is a $50 charge. Technicians install network connections on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is a 3-day warranty for network setups completed by IT.
Residence Hall Internet Service is a high-speed filtered Internet service.
