Over $850 was placed on the BJU Alumni Association “gifting tree” during the Christmas Carol Sing and Lighting Ceremony. Visitors to our Alumni Welcome area at the Gazebo placed their monetary gifts in special ornaments for the tree. We have extended the opportunity to participate online through December 13.
Gifts that come in online between now and the end of the day on Thursday, December 13, will go to this year’s project. Your gift will be an encouragement to others to join you in giving to the Alumni Child Tuition Aid Grant fund. This is a specific fund set up for children of alumni.
The fund has been hit hard by the economy. We would like to do more as an Association to help other alumni, and adding more money to the investment fund will make it possible for us to help additional students.
Thank you to all who have given and to those who will give. This is just one more way that you as alumni are helping to carry out the mission of the Association through supporting one another financially.
