Writing is perhaps the most difficult, the most frustrating, and yet the most "glorious" discipline to teach. The goal of teaching English (grammar and literature) is communicaton, both verbal (speech) and nonverbal (writing). Some topics that will be covered in this session are the following: what types of writing to teach, how to teach those types, and how to grade student writings.
