Mock trial is a unique courtroom simulation activity that promotes better reading, writing, thinking, reasoning, and speaking skills for your students. Mock trial can be a co-curricular cooperative learning activity useful in many subject areas, or it can be a fun, exciting, and rewarding extra-curricular program in which you can compete against other schools.
This workshop will cover a brief overview of what mock trial is and what is involved, and how you can begin a program at your school. Additionally, you will learn ways to integrate mock trial into the curriculum you use.
