The Homeschool Co-op: Concept and Possibilities
Mr. Dennis Peterson
Parents who homeschool their children sometimes feel inadequate to teach many of the secondary-level subjects, such as science lab classes, foreign languages, or writing. Other courses such as band and choir require large numbers of students to be effective. A possible solution to these problems is to form an educational enrichment cooperative with other homeschoolers. My teaching of this seminar would be based on my wife's and my own experiences teaching in and helping operate just such a co-op.
