New Students - Meet your Advisor

All day

Summer Orientation Attendee: Even if you registered in Summer Orientation, you should still go by your advisor’s office to say hello and get some advice about which Student Success Workshops to attend. You may even have a different advisor than the one you saw in Summer Orientation. In that case, you will definitely want to meet the person who will be guiding your academic journey this year.

Registering for the First Time: If you weren’t able to attend Summer Orientation, you will need to see your advisor to register for your classes. Prior to going by your advisors office, you should take any placement tests and/or auditions listed on your Admission Certificate.

Transfer Students who did not attend Summer Orientation & Students with Graduate Classification:
Once checked in, build your trial schedule in StudentCentral under the Register menu option. Meet with your advisor on Monday or Tuesday to secure permission prior to submitting your schedule to complete registration prior to the close of registration on Tuesday at 5 p.m
